Hi all

I write today to pose a question to those of you who make money from your artiness Lately I've had a few people requesting a tattoo design from me, for close friends I do this for free but I've decided to see if I could make some money from it for the others who have asked me, problem is I'm a total n00b when it comes to business skills and I'm not sure what's an appropriate price for a piece. Does anyone have any hints or pointers for me? I design a lot of bold and colourful tattoos but I could do some black and grey/portrait if asked, what's the best and most plausible price to charge depending on size etc?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I have some new drawings in the works, I'm getting a lot of passion fired sketches out at the mo as opposed to sitting down to finish a piece but some solid ideas have come from this and I'm hoping to have some new work soon which will hopefully be the start of a whole new stream of stuff

Hi all

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the recent faves, watches and features really appreciate all of it. I'm not uploading as often at the moment cos I can no longer use my scanner I have a couple of new pieces to show but at the moment I've been focussing on technical practice with machines (I need some pig skin asap!) I also been looking for permanent work... why will noone employ meee??

Anyways!! new work will be added shortly but apologies for the sparseness of it, if anyone would like to pay me for designing a tattoo I'd be glad to speak to you

Slowly gettin over my damn infection... it housed me for over a week couldn't do anything or go anywhere was just stuck in bed watching DVD's so sadly I've nothing to show for my week of absence couple of drawings in the making I'll try to upload soon, and of course I've got a lot of machine practice to get in I'll try and upload as and when

I write this struggling to breathe cos I'm blocked up with the most nasty cold!! >_< I'm also doing this 10 day course thing atm which along with this blaghness is leaving me really really drained at the end of the day so wanted to say thanks for the recent faves and comments, sorry if my comments are very unresponsive I'm just incredibly low on energy!! I also apologise for the fave and runs, I usually like to leave wee comments but I just can't operate my mind to think of anything atm so if I've faved something of yours lately take it to mean I think it's amazingly, stupendously awesome

Hi all

The name of my journal is to commemorate the noise my new tattoo machines make when being used! ^_^ I finally got them up and running after much tuning trouble but with the help of some great professionals I'm now well on my way!! Been practicing on fake rubber skin so far and last night i couldn't help trying it out on my own leg! stung like hell but I did myself a wee rose and it's not too shakey! I've got an idea to sort of 'sleeve up' my thighs so I don't have seemingly random doodles dotted about in the middle of nowhere all over my legs I'll post pics as soon as I get hold of my bro's camera!

This has spurred me to pick up my pencils and get properly going again, I'm really influenced now as I see it as the more I draw the more I'll wana use my machines and I've been commissioned by a couple of peeps for designs ^____^ so watch this space for some tattooed fruit and pig skin! and lots and lots of new designs woot!

Thanks for everyone's ongoing support, any advice or pointers by existing tattooers will be greatly appreciated! and no I am not advertising myself on the internet as any sort of professional, I'm serious about this biz and refuse to 'scratch' all and sundry, wish me luck everyone!!
